50% of New Zealand’s homes are too cold and too damp, causing a staggering four times the number of premature deaths as the road toll. But Kiwis continue to “tough it out” over winter To change that attitude, ANZ asked us to captivate the market and educate them about the problem and its solution – Healthy Homes Initiative, offering interest-free loans for insulation and heating.

We created a 100% sustainable device that shows you how healthy your home is - without relying on any power source Mr. Humfreez was created to signal changes in conditions inside buildings. His horns uncurl when humidity exceeds 65 percent and his nose turns blue when temperatures drop below 18°C. Beyond indicating the problem, Mr. Humfreez is helping educate Kiwis and leading them to healthier homes with interest-free loans from ANZ.
